Excessive alcohol use was responsible for more than 140,000 deaths in the United States each year during 2015\u20132019, or more than 380 deaths per day. These estimates are from the CDC\u2019s Alcohol-Related Disease Impact (ARDI) application<\/a>, using a new methodology.
